The great quality of graphite used in Dragon BLACK ROCK II rods, can be felt during first touch of the rod. Perfect, light SiC guides in small sizes and innovative design style give even more prestige to the rods.
In these series of blanks hi-module construction was used, based on two kinds of graphite by Japanese TORAY company:
extra stiff 42 mln graphite (in outer layers);
24 and 30 mln PSI strength graphite in the core and middle part of the blank.
Additional protection of the blank against mechanical damages was created in Matrix Shield technology, which involves reeling few very thin and precisely grinded layers of the carbon tape

It is not the quantity, but most of all the quality of the bearings used that affects whether the reel will be used for many seasons, or whether it will end up in the garbage after being used several times. Taking into account the dimensions and the loads occurring during operation, the best reel bearings are currently manufactured in Japan, Taiwan and Germany. These are the bearings we use in Dragon reels! As a result, even the cheapest models meet high standards, work flawlessly and never disappoint their owners!
