The idea behind this series was to create short, light and sensitive rods, aimed at anglers who prefer slightly more sophisticated casting. However, there are also a few slightly stronger rods. Each of them has a fast action and a deep and warm bend, thanks to which even landing a small fish is a lot of fun, and at the same time it is fully controlled.
The finishing components of the MODERATE SL Ti series are:
❖ SeaGuide Titanium SiC guides;
❖ SeaGuide reel seat type SK2 with graphite insert;
❖ butts combining light metal and EVA foam;
❖ two-component, non-aging epoxy varnish for wraps by Thread Master;
❖ ProWrap threads for wraps.
The following mats from the Japanese company Toray have been used in the blanks of the MODERATE SL Ti rods:
❖ Basic blank material: high-modulus graphites 40 and 46 million PSI;
❖ High-rigidity graphite 62 million PSI in areas requiring weight reduction;
❖ Strength graphite 30 million PSI in the core of the blank.

It is not the quantity, but most of all the quality of the bearings used that affects whether the reel will be used for many seasons, or whether it will end up in the garbage after being used several times. Taking into account the dimensions and the loads occurring during operation, the best reel bearings are currently manufactured in Japan, Taiwan and Germany. These are the bearings we use in Dragon reels! As a result, even the cheapest models meet high standards, work flawlessly and never disappoint their owners!
