If you are wondering how to fish in the sea, there are a few techniques at your disposal. The first of these is spinning. The essence of this method is not too different from fishing in a river or a lake. You cast out the rod, which is equipped with an artificial bait, and later retrieve it with a spool. The differences can be seen in the devices themselves and their parameters. The rod, reel and main line are much sturdier here. The bait is also larger and heavier. That's because you'll often be fishing at depths of several tens of meters. Therefore, fishing with delicate fishing equipment would be ineffective.
The second method of sea fishing is trolling. The bait is pulled through a boat that is constantly moving. This special form of fishing is prohibited in many inland waters. If you don't want to go out to sea in a boat or cutter, you can also fish from the beach or shore, known as surf fishing. This is a variant of bottom fishing in the sea. This gives you the opportunity to catch species of fish that you will not find in the open sea. Their variety is really great. This type of fishing uses slightly different fishing accessories. You should choose longer, stronger rods and much larger spinning reels.
If you are going on an offshore trip, remember that the equipment must be robust. Unfortunately, many coil models are damaged by salt water. Also, make sure your gear is properly maintained and cleaned upon return from your trip. Otherwise, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise. Sea fishing is not a uniform form of fishing. Every angler, even the most demanding, will find the best way for himself. So it pays to start the adventure by buying the right tackle or fishing gear from us at Best Lures Shop.
