What distinguishes
method feeder from classic feeder is groundbait and the way it is served and presented in the fishery. Heavy groundbaits with increased stickiness, rich in flavor and aroma components, are commonly used. Such mixtures are designed to bring the fish to the fishery area, and their consistency makes it easier to discreetly hide the basket with the bait, thanks to which we can catch even cautious fish in fisheries with high fishing pressure.
Method feeder groundbaits are most often available as dry mixes, but there are also those which have been moistened during the production stage and are ready to use.
Pellets for the method can be divided into two groups, those used in feeders and those used at the end of the set with a quick foot or a silicone rubber.
Feeder pellets are of a very small diameter and most often produced and used by anglers are those with a diameter of 2mm. For their preparation, it is worth using specialized strainers (e.g. of the Guru brand).
Method pellets have a larger diameter and are available in a very wide range of flavors. Thanks to their scent properties, they are able to tempt even a carefully feeding, peacefully feeding fish.
